3DE Global won the Sports and Recreation category at the ANZ Tekla BIM Awards 2023 for the Heffron Centre in Sydney.

The Heffron Centre is a multipurpose indoor sports and community facility serving Maroubra and the surrounding area. It carries a two court indoor sports hall set up for netball, basketball, badminton, volleyball and futsal, along with a dedicated gymnastics facility, and it was designed for use by people of all ages and abilities.

It is the second Tekla BIM Award for 3DE Global. The first came in 2021, in the Infrastructure category, for the Iron Ore Export Wharf Upgrade Project in the Pilbara, Western Australia, detailed with Austral Construction.
