3DE Global has done structural steel works for residential, commercial and industrial sectors. We have expertise with high rise buildings, airports, hangers, bridges, concert halls, stadiums, equipment supports, materials handling and processing systems (for mining sectors), wharfs/Jetties and offshore platforms (for Oil and Gas sectors). We are familiar with American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), NISD, AWS, CISC, OSHA, British standards (BS & BCSA) & Australian standards, and have a proven track record in delivering successful projects.
Our team is well versed with fabrication, erection and general construction techniques and procedures. They incorporate this knowledge in our information rich models, erection and shop drawings thereby ensuring the feasibility of any complex project.
We model in Tekla Structures, and hold multiple versions including current releases and older perpetual licences so that we can work in the version you run rather than forcing an upgrade. We also work with Tekla PowerFab for fabricators running production control through it, and use Bluebeam for revision comparison and drawing markup.
What you receive: shop drawings for every fabricated piece and erection drawings for the crew on site, both as PDF. NC1 files for your saws and drill lines, generated from the same model as the drawings so the two cannot drift apart. Material lists and bolt lists. The Tekla model, and an IFC export configured to your settings rather than a default. DXF profiles where a laser or plasma process needs them.
The exact schedule of deliverables is agreed before we start, because a package that is technically complete but missing the one file your shop runs on is not complete.
